Where it Started
I didn’t grow up around this.
The first time I signed up for a class, I didn’t even own a gun.
I didn’t have ear protection, eye protection- nothing.
I remember walking into a gun store by myself, not knowing what I needed or where to even start.
It was intimidating.
Not because people were rude, but because I felt completely out of place and didn’t want to make the wrong decision.
The Problem
That feeling is what stuck with me.
Not knowing what to bring, what actually matters, or how to avoid wasting money on the wrong gear.
There wasn’t a simple place to go that just explained it clearly.
Why Square One Exists
Square One exists because I know what it feels like to not know where to start.
To walk into something new and feel completely unprepared.
This is meant to be the place I wish I had: simple, clear, and actually helpful.
